The Raudaskylä Master Classes have been around for over 50 years. Internationally renowned teachers, great rehearsal facilities and idyllic surroundings of Raudaskylä – that’s what our Master Classes are made of! The Master Classes are accompanied by concerts of the lecturers and final concerts of the students.

Location and surroundings

Our college is located in the middle of the towns of Ylivieska and Nivala, distance from both is 15 km. The nearest shops and supermarkets are to be found in those towns. We have here a little shop for candies, refreshments, toiletries etc.

Pianists can put together their course (5 x 45 min) from lessons from two teachers. Please indicate your preferred teacher and number of lessons when registering.

Rehearsal

During the courses we have about 20 class rooms reserved for rehearsal. There are about ten classrooms equipped with a piano. At daytime you can practice in the dorms as well. Booking lists are in the entrance hall of the college building.

Accommodation in dorms

Students will stay in dorms at the college. Dorms include 5–7 rooms (2 persons / room). Rooms are fitted with beds, table, wardrobes and bedding (no sheets). You can rent sheets and towel (15 €) from our reception. Kitchen is equipped with a stove, a microwave, a coffee maker and a refrigerator.

• Master Classes  €385 (5 x 45 min). Extras 1 x 45 min = €90
• Konstantin Bogino Master Class €520 (5 x 45 min). Extras 1 x 45 min = €110
• Full board in double room: €180
• Full board in single room: €230 (restricted availability)

You can make your payments at the reception by cash or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

Parents and relatives are warmly welcome to Raudaskylä as well.

• Full board for adults in €47 / day and for children (4–12 years) €39 / day and 1–4 years €15 / day. These prices includes full board, free admission to the lessons and concerts and leisure time activities.
